About Our Policy

With Sea Tow’s experience on the water and the Sea Insure team's experience with insurance you can rest assured that with a Sea Insure policy you will have the coverage if the unexpected happens.

Medical Payments Coverage
Provides coverage for reasonable and necessary medical expense for you or your passengers, regardless of fault.
Uninsured Boaters Coverage

Fuel Spill Liability
Provides up to $800,000 for the containment, clean-up, and property damage resulting from a fuel or oil spill from your watercraft.

Personal Property Coverage
Coverage is provided for loss or damage to your belongings while aboard your watercraft.
- Additional Features
Unlike most policies, with Sea Insure® you’re covered over and above your liability limit for legal fees related to a liability claim.
If you have an electronics claim, you will only be responsible for a $500 deductible, as opposed to the full hull deductible of most other policies.
Scratching, Denting, Ice & Freezing
You are covered for scratching or denting damage to your hull as well as damage from ice and freezing. (Commonly excluded from most policies).
Unlike most, our policy does not have mechanical breakdown exclusion.
Charter and Crew Coverage
Qualifying vessels can purchase coverage for up to twenty charters per year. Liability coverage is also available for full or part-time captain and crew.
Marine Environmental Damage Coverage
You are covered for up to $100,000 in damages in the event of a marine environmental claim against you (commonly excluded from most policies).
- Policy Options*
In the event of a total loss, this coverage option provides for the full agreed-upon value of your vessel without depreciation.
In the event of a total loss, this coverage option provides the cost to replace the lost property with new property.
*Both options include Physical Loss or Damage Coverage for your boat, engines, electronics and other equipment, as well as any dinghies or trailers you use with your boat. All risks are covered unless specifically excluded.
**Replacement cost coverage is offered on boats up to 2 years old.
