Franchises Honored at Sea Tow Annual Meeting
Sea Tow kicked of the start of its 25th anniversary at the company’s annual meeting at the Amelia Island Plantation (Fla.) this past January The meeting’s theme – "Defining the Future" – was chosen to celebrate the company’s growth in a year of economic downturn. Sea Tow Wrightsville Beach (N.C.), led by owner Capt. Chris Willis, received the coveted Franchise of the Year award and Capt. Walter Garschagen was recognized as Sea Tow’s Rookie of the Year. Jim Givens and wife Debbie (Sea Tow St. Catherines (Ga.)) received an award for Service Above & Beyond for their heroic efforts in the attempt to save a father in front of his son last season.
