Captain Ethan Maass is the owner of, and head captain for, Sea Tow South Shore, which serves boaters throughout Cape Cod Bay in Massachusetts.

He holds a U.S. Coast Guard captain’s license (with assistance towing and sailing endorsements), a PADI dive certification, OSHA's Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) certification and numerous other marine-related qualifications.

Prior to establishing Sea Tow South Shore, Capt. Ethan worked for other Sea Tow franchises. A former member of the U.S. Coast Guard, Maass also worked with the Boston Pilots and for various ferry companies prior to joining Sea Tow.

Capt. Skip Walter has operated a variety of vessels all over the world, from tugboats in the Caribbean to ferries in Rhode Island.

He has been a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain for more than 25 years and holds endorsements for both sailing and assistance towing.

He sails all over Massachusetts waters with his family aboard their 34-foot catamaran and is known for his ever-present smile when he lends boaters a hand in Cape Cod Bay.

Capt. Mike joined Sea Tow South Shore in 2008 and operates our fleet of towboats on all area waters. As a long-time charter captain in the area, Mike knows the local waters well, and can expertly assist you out on the water.

Capt. Paul joined Sea Tow South Shore in 2008 and operates our towboats across our entire area-of-responsibility (AOR). As a long-time boater in this area, and occasional charter fishing captain, Paul knows the waters well and is available to expertly assist boaters out on the water.
