Kim Haas and her husband have owned the Key West location for two years and the Jacksonville location for 12 years. “We felt this would be a good opportunity to provide members even better service throughout the entire Lower Keys,” she said of Sea Tow Lower Keys, which adjoins Sea Tow Key West and Sea Tow Islamorada’s territories.
Sea Tow Lower Keys operates a 22-foot center console Sea Tow vessel based at Little Torch Key with additional support as needed from the Sea Tow Key West and Sea Tow Islamorada fleets. More vessels are planned for the future.
A small center console is the type of boat we run down here because it allows us the most flexibility,” said Capt. Perroncello, who is in his 11th year as owner of Sea Tow Islamorada. “We often have to go into skinny water, so this boat is a natural choice. Additionally, we have the equipment to service members off shore as well.”
"We’re delighted that Capt. Haas and Capt. Perroncello have taken over operations in the Lower Keys,” said Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer, Sea Tow Founder and CEO. “Their experience and expertise ensures that Sea Tow members and other boaters in the area will continue to receive the highest level of professional service should they need assistance on the water.”
