Six New Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Stations Open in Charleston through Donation from Southern Eagle and Anheuser-Busch

“These new Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Stations will help further the Foundation’s ongoing mission of helping to make boating safer and more enjoyable by encouraging boaters to wear life jackets while on the water,” said Capt. Joseph Frohnhoefer, CEO and Founder of Sea Tow. “We are very grateful to our partners at Southern Eagle and Anheuser-Busch for making these stations possible.”

Six loaner stations opened in Charleston at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.The locations of the stands will be at:

  • Red’s Ice House on Historic Shem Creek (98 Church St., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464)
  • RiversEdge Marina (4354 Bridge View Dr., North Charleston, SC 29405)
  • Charleston Co. Parks & Recreation (510 Mill St., Charleston, SC 29464)
  • Red’s Ice House at Bohicket Marina (1882 Andell Bluff Blvd., Seabrook Island, SC 29455)
  • Morgan Creek Grill (80 41st Ave., Isle of Palms, SC 29451)
  • Shem Creek Marina (526 Mill St. Charleston, SC 29464)

The Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program has loaned life jackets to more than 22,000 life jackets to boaters since 2008. For more information and a list of Life Jacket Loaner Stations in the U.S., please visit www.boatingsafety.com.
