The Golden Life Jacket Award is presented to “local heroes” in communities across the U.S. who have made a positive difference in their community by promoting boating safety and life jacket use – one of the Sea Tow Foundation’s core missions. Each year, Sea Tow franchisees may nominate candidates from their community whom they feel are worthy of receiving the Golden Life Jacket Award from the Sea Tow Foundation and a local franchise.
“Tommy Scott along with his board helped to approve the construction and installation of Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Stands at Placida Boat Ramp, Harbour Heights Boat Ramp, Spring Lake Boat Ramp, Laishley Park Boat Ramp, El Jobean Boat Ramp and Ponce De Leon Boat Ramp,” said Capt. DeGenaro. “Helping to provide these loaner life jackets for boaters to borrow free of charge for a day on the water will help to ensure that they and their passengers have a safer, worry-free time out on the waters of Charlotte County.”
