“We are dedicated not only to serving the local boating community but also to being a part of it,” said Capt. Ryan. “My family lives and we work and play here. These are our friends and neighbors whom we are helping on the water. We are also working with Wake the World, which takes special needs children out onto lakes for a fun water-sports experience.”
Sea Tow Uwharrie Lakes covers both Tillery and Badin lakes, which are part of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Badin Lake has 5,350 surface acres, while Lake Tillery is 5,000 acres.
Sea Tow High Rock Lake serves boaters on the 15,801-acre High Rock Lake, located about 30 miles to the north. A reservoir for hydroelectric power, it is the second largest lake in North Carolina behind Lake Norman (32,510 surface acres).
The abundance of lakes in this part of the country makes it the perfect place for boaters to take advantage of the Sea Tow Lake Card!
