Captain Dan Martin has gone from the freedom of the sky to the freedom of open water as new owner of Sea Tow Key Biscayne. Located just east of Miami, and surrounded by the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve, Key Biscayne is the new home port for Captain Martin and his crew.
Captain Martin has had quite the adventurous life flying to almost every corner of the world. He served as a Major in the United States Marine Corps working on flight maintenance and taking on lead aviation for 11 years. His service did not go unnoticed while flying overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq as he was awarded eight air medals. After returning to the states, Captain Martin piloted for Delta Airlines for two years.
While it seems Captain Martin has spent most of his life in the air, he has always had a love for the water. “I find such pleasure gliding through the waves and experiencing the world from a different view,” Captain Martin said. “I am proud to now serve Sea Tow because this is a team I truly believe in and provides the utmost service for boaters.”
