We’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Kraus, one of your Sea Tow family members who is at the helm of the company’s marketing program. We are excited to share the news that she recently received national recognition for her work.
This month, Vanessa, who is Sea Tow’s director of marketing, was recognized by the marine industry trade publication Boating Industry and included in its national 2017 40 under 40 list. The list includes 40 of the best leaders under the age of 40 in the marine and boating industry, for their work and contributions. Vanessa will also be featured in the magazine’s July issue.
For the last six years, Vanessa has been instrumental in educating boaters nationwide on the benefits of a Sea Tow membership, as well as how to stay safe while having fun and enjoying peace of mind on the water. As director of marketing she has created numerous partnerships and marketing campaigns to extend the brand of Sea Tow. Vanessa also works with the Sea Tow Foundation on program development and awareness for the Foundation’s life Jacket loaner and Designated Skipper programs.
“Vanessa is well deserving of this recognition and we are proud that she was selected to be included,” said Joseph Frohnhoefer, III, chief executive officer of Sea Tow. “Her role in marketing goes a lot farther than just promoting Sea Tow, but communicating that boating is fun, safe and something that anyone can enjoy. It’s an important message that needs to be communicated and one that Vanessa prides herself on doing in her role as director of marketing.”
Not only does Vanessa direct national marketing efforts, she also works with 96 individual Sea Tow franchise locations and more than 750 captains to oversee marketing and sales efforts for Sea Insure, Sea Tow’s sister company offering marine insurance.
When she is not in the office, you will find her on the North Fork of Long Island enjoying time on the Peconic Bay with her husband and 3-year-old son.
