Are you using the most detailed and up-to-date charts?

Imagine a map that you can update daily to reflect the ever-changing conditions of marine and lake areas anywhere. SonarChart™, the 1ft HD contour map, does just that. In fact, it’s continuously improved with contributions from boaters like you!

Update your local area by simply logging sonar whenever you go boating and fishing. It’s very easy and can yield great results, for both subtle and drastic changes, quickly.

In South Florida, boaters are working together to update chart detail that may have been affected by Hurricane Irma. Inspired to make boating safer after the storm, the boating community is logging sonar in affected areas and marking Hurricane debris locations with the Community Edits tool on the Navionics Boating app.

To see SonarChart™ on your phone or tablet, just toggle from Nautical Chart to SonarChart™ by tapping the icon on your Boating app screen.

Own a Navionics card? Don't miss out on 1 ft HD contours included with every product. Normally, you will see Nautical Chart by default, but you can easily switch to SonarChart™ anytime:

Humminbird – press the Menu button twice, go to the Chart tab, press the down arrow to Chart Select and choose SonarChart (FishN’Chip on older models). Video

Lowrance, Simrad or B&G – press Menu, select Chart options, then scroll down or select View, choose Fish’n chip. Video

Raymarine – press Menu, Presentation, Chart Selection, then choose SonarChart. Video

Instructions may vary; check the owner’s manual for your model.

Take advantage of the extraordinary detail by learning how to read the contours, and update your charts often! If you have an older card from Navionics or another brand, you can get SonarChart™ with Navionics Updates!
