As 2020 draws to a close, we are proud to showcase some of the amazing work being done by our Sea Tow franchises and talented captains this year. As local business owners, our captains continue to go above and beyond in their community bringing safe boating and expertise to those in need.
“Our franchisees continue to raise the bar,” said Sea Tow President Kristen Frohnhoefer. “They are active in their communities and well-deserving to be recognized for it. We are proud of all the work they do, on and off the water.”
This year’s awards included:
- Sea Tow Venice was honored with the Franchise Rock Star Award, presented by Franchise Business Review. The family-owned and operated team was recognized for “setting an admirable example when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success and contribution to their community.”
- Sea Tow Portland/Midcoast was presented with the Spirit of Partnership Award by the Mid-Island Trail Association of Portland, Maine (MITA). This award is given annually to those that truly embody the sense of stewardship that the organization embraces. With a steadfast commitment to the environment and the MITA’s mission.
- Sea Tow Smith Mountain Lake was honored with the Karl Martin Water Safety Award. The Smith Mountain Lake Association presented the award to owners Rick and Nancy Ellet because of their continued commitment to keeping the community safe on the water through Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Stations, Sober Skipper initiatives, and more
