The Sea Tow Foundation has announced the launch of its newly redesigned website: www.boatingsafety.com.
BoatingSafety.com features a streamlined design, user-friendly functionality, and easy access to essential information about the programs that the Foundation hosts, as well as an abundance of articles about boating safety tips and practices.
“The one thing that all boaters have in common is the desire to plan that next boating trip, whether it is going to be this weekend, next month or sometime in the future. The new Sea Tow Foundation website has plenty of materials to help boaters plan a safe and fun day on the water,” said Gail Kulp, Executive Director of the Sea Tow Foundation.
Perks of the new site include:
- A fresh, redesigned blog with a better search function.
- Easier to navigate and more resourceful pages of the Foundation’s Life Jacket Loaner Program and Sober Skipper Program.
- An online store with items available to download for free as well as program supplies.
A new feature on the site is the “Get Involved” page, which allows the Sea Tow Foundation supporters to interact with each other in ways they’ve never been able to before. Registration is free and users not only receive access to the Sea Tow Foundation’s new e-newsletter, but they will also be able to connect with groups of dedicated people who are already working together to help operate and spread awareness of the Foundation’s programs.
“Our goal behind the new site is to provide an easily accessible, valuable resource for boaters. Whether that be information about life jackets, about safety courses or our programs, we want people to boat safely and will offer whatever we can to help them do that,” said Kulp. “We believe the new site meets those expectations.”
