Our Team

Capt. Kerry Kline - Owner/Captain/Marketing Director
Capt. Kerry Kline holds a 50 Ton Master Coast Guard Captain's License with a towing endorsement. Coming from south Florida, Kerry spent the last twenty-five years cruising the south Florida Keys, Bahamas and the Dry Tortugas. He moved his family to central Florida in 2006. Capt. Kline is deeply involved in teaching safe boating and advanced boating education courses throughout the area.

Karen Kline - Owner/Office Manager
Karen Kline, Captain Kline's wife is originally from Chicago, IL and moved to south Florida 20 years ago, where she worked in the Casino Business on Coastal Cruise Ships. After meeting her husband, the two of them sailed the Keys and Bahamas before relocating to Central Florida for calmer waters and a relaxed lifestyle. Now, Karen manages the dispatch of their Captain s and assists in the customer service of their members.

Randy DuMars - Marketing Director / Captain
Captain Randy DuMars currently holds the position of Sea Tow Captain in the southern tier. Captain DuMars is a fishing guide for the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and also guides alligator hunts during the season. He has lived in the Central Florida area all of his life and enjoys outdoor activities. Captain DuMars has held a 25 ton Masters License with a towing endorsement for the past seven years, and currently is a pro staffer for Ludikowski & Associates at Bass Pro Shops. In the past, Randy has held careers in law enforcement and the hospitality industry at Disney World. Captain DuMars enjoys serving the community and truly loves his job.

Steve Niemoeller - Captain
Capt. Steve Niemoeller holds a OUPV 6 Pack License with a Towing Endorsement serving Sea Tow Central FL. Lakes customers on the St. Johns river (DeLand Area )which he has spent many days on guiding his customers in his guide service CFLfishing.com F&S water Charters. Capt. Steve stays involved in the community working with kids fishing tournaments and casting contests also sponsored by Steel Shad lure company which he also owns.

Jonathan Johansmeyer – Captain
Capt. Johansmeyer, a fourth generation Florida native, grew up in the Central Florida area and has been boating his entire life. Jonathan holds a Master 50 ton inland, Mate 50 Near Coastal, Towing Endorsement, and Advanced Diver Certificate from PADI. Based out of Sanford and Deland, he enjoys talking and creating interpersonal relationships with the boating community. He is also going to school at UCF, majoring in Integrated Business with a projected graduation of April 2017. When he is not at school or work, he likes to hang out with friends at New Smyrna beach or on the St. Johns River in Sanford.

William Fraser – Captain
Capt. William Fraser is a native Floridian and has lived in the DeLand area along the St. Johns River since 1989. Bill holds a 50 ton Master Captains license with a towing endorsement from the USCG. He has owned his own construction company since 1991. He's been boating his entire adult life. When he's not working, he is fishing or hunting. Of the innumerable fish he has caught over the years, 7 of them were bass weighing over 10 lbs. He and his wife Martha have been married more than 25 years. Together they own Florida Life Products, an apparel company.

Jerry Lisk – Captain
Capt Jerry Lisk holds a 100 ton masters license, Radar Unlimited, STCW95, FCC Marine Radio license with Towing Endorsement. Retired Lake Mary Fireman who is a robotic operated vehicle supervisor and liaison for projects (salvage/support/ inspections) with various governmental agencies and companies. He has a background in electronics (Electronic science engineering, high/low voltage electrical), Emergency services (Fire Science engineering, Emergency medical/fire, hazardous materials, and explosives), mechanical, hydraulics, fabrication, business management, computer science engineering, psychology, NAUI Diver, NASAR-Water rescue Instructor, NRA firearms instructor, and FWC hunter education instructor. When not working he enjoys gator hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycles around Florida and working with the Shriners.  

Our Boats

Unit 1 - 21' Carolina Skiff

The jack plate and the 75 hp E-Tec engine creates a work boat that can access skinny "8 inches" of water to get you out! Based on the Harris Chain of Lakes Lake County

Unit 2 - 18' Prodrive

Air cooled 36 Vangard engine runs in 2 inches of water at 23 knots. Based on the Harris Chain of Lakes Lake County.

 

Unit 3 - 19' Triumph

The triumph based on the Harris Chain of Lakes with her Polyethylene hull does 35 knots with a 2006 135 Mercury OptiMax 135 DFI engine.

 

 

Unit 4 - 18' Sea Craft

Top speed 35 mph with her 2011 115 4 stroke Yamaha engine is based at Pier 44 Marina in DeLand on the St Johns River. Covers into Lake George.

 

Unit 5 - 19' Triumph

Based on the St. Johns River at Boat Tree Marina. This Triumph with a Polyethylene hull does 35 knots with her 2006 Mercury 135 DFI OptiMax engine.

 

Unit 6 - 17' Prodrive

Air cooled 36 hp Vangard engine runs in 2 inches of water at 21 knots. Based in the St Cloud Area.

 

Unit 7 - 19' Sea Pro

This strong vessel with a Mercury 150 can respond at 35-40 mph. Bases in the St Cloud area.

Captains Wanted

Description: 

We are excited to announce Sea Tow Central Florida Lakes is EXPANDING to serve our members even better as we are looking to add additional Part Time (2 weekends per month) Captains to our professional team. Must live within 15 to 20 min from either Windermere, Tavares or Deland.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate a Fast Response Assistance Towing vessel on patrol and in assisting disabled boaters on-the-water. Assistance will include: towing, fuel drops, jumpstarts, ungroundings and general marine assistance. • Assist senior staff with light salvage operations. SCUBA experience and or Spanish speaking would be a plus. Previous marketing or sales experience, to assist with membership growth a plus.  • Perform general daily routine maintenance on the towboats during the boating season. 

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: • USCG, License (OUPV, 50 Ton, 100 Ton, etc) upon Near Coastal waters with an Assistance Towing endorsement.  • We do a pre-employment drug test screen and then place all employees on a random drug testing program as required by the USCG.
