Pat O'Brien - Owner/Captain/President
Capt. Pat is a local graduate of Cape Coral High School. He spent his early career in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Search & Rescue Coxswain. He joined Sea Tow Ft. Myers in the early 90s, first as a boat captain and later became the Owner/President of the Sea Tow Fort Myers. He is extremely qualified, holding a 100-ton Master License with a commercial towing endorsement. He is a certified oil spill supervisor, certified salvage master, certified HAZMAT, and a certified rescue scuba diver. Capt. Pat oversees Sea Tow Ft. Myers Captains and assists them with the needs of our membership base.
Heather O'Brien - Office Manger
Heather is the Office Manager for Sea Tow Ft Myers. Locals call her the "1-1 Girl". She has been with Sea Tow since 2009. Heather has received awards from Sea Tow International and the USCG for her "Effort of Above and Beyond" for acts of outstanding duties. She can be heard on the VHF radio during the day shift hours. Her responsibilities include managing captains and dispatchers, scheduling, boat parade coordination and much more.
Dylan Everdell - Senior Captain
Capt Dylan, a Pine Island Florida native, has been boating since his young childhood. In 2003 he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Finance degree and realized shortly his love for the water was greater. Capt. Dylan holds a 50-ton U.S. Masters Officers license, is Hazmat certified, and after 5 years with the company, he now handles the training of the captains.
Rick Rushman - Senior Captain
Capt. Rick moved to the area from Wyandotte, Michigan. Capt. Rick was a professional road diver and spent many years as a supervisor of a warehousing facility. After moving to Cape Coral his love of the water and weather found him seeking his captains license. Capt Rick has worked for Sea Tow Ft. Myers for over 10 years now. He holds a 50-ton U.S. Merchant Marine license with a towing endorsement. He is CPR certified and first aid trained. His experience on the water has not gone without notice some members try to request Capt. Rick be their captain due to positive experiences being towed by Capt. Rick.
