Our Team

Pat O'Brien - Owner/Captain/President
Capt. Pat is a local graduate of Cape Coral High School. He spent his early career in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Search & Rescue Coxswain. He joined Sea Tow Ft. Myers in the early 90s, first as a boat captain and later became the Owner/President of the Sea Tow Fort Myers. He is extremely qualified, holding a 100-ton Master License with a commercial towing endorsement. He is a certified oil spill supervisor, certified salvage master, certified HAZMAT, and a certified rescue scuba diver. Capt. Pat oversees Sea Tow Ft. Myers Captains and assists them with the needs of our membership base.

Heather O'Brien - Office Manger
Heather is the Office Manager for Sea Tow Ft Myers. Locals call her the "1-1 Girl". She has been with Sea Tow since 2009. Heather has received awards from Sea Tow International and the USCG for her "Effort of Above and Beyond" for acts of outstanding duties. She can be heard on the VHF radio during the day shift hours. Her responsibilities include managing captains and dispatchers, scheduling, boat parade coordination and much more.

Dylan Everdell - Senior Captain
Capt Dylan, a Pine Island Florida native, has been boating since his young childhood. In 2003 he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Finance degree and realized shortly his love for the water was greater. Capt. Dylan holds a 50-ton U.S. Masters Officers license, is Hazmat certified, and after 5 years with the company, he now handles the training of the captains.

Rick Rushman - Senior Captain
Capt. Rick moved to the area from Wyandotte, Michigan. Capt. Rick was a professional road diver and spent many years as a supervisor of a warehousing facility. After moving to Cape Coral his love of the water and weather found him seeking his captains license. Capt Rick has worked for Sea Tow Ft. Myers for over 10 years now. He holds a 50-ton U.S. Merchant Marine license with a towing endorsement. He is CPR certified and first aid trained. His experience on the water has not gone without notice some members try to request Capt. Rick be their captain due to positive experiences being towed by Capt. Rick.

Shane Warnick - Lead Captain
Capt. Shane Warnick joined the Sea Tow crew in 2012. Capt. Shane holds a 50-Ton master and has an experienced Sea Tow background. He came from Sea Tow Savannah and his dedication, experience, and attitude was quickly acknowledged. He has now earned the position of our Lead Captain in Fort Myers.

Tom Henri - Captain
Capt. Tom joined Sea Tow Fort Myers in 2010. Capt. Tom graduated with his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Capt. Tom joined the Sea Tow crew to help clean up the Gulf Oil Spill in 2010 and his love for the water continued with a career as one of our Captains. Capt. Tom is a hard worker and you can find him on the water and on most salvages!

Jeannette Derner - Membership Department
Jeannette has been with Sea Tow Ft. Myers since 2003. She is in charge of the membership department. With over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales she brings a wide variety of expertise to our company.

Paul Dollman - Captain
Capt. Paul holds a 100 Ton U.S. Master License. He has been a lifelong boater and has been involved in many aspects of the marine industry including salvages, sales, and mechanical duties. Capt. Paul has received many accolades from Sea Tow members regarding positive experiences while under his care.

Tommy Lawrence - Mechanic
Tommy is our hands on mechanic.Since 2004 Tommy has been apart of our team! He earned his Marine Mechanic certifications in Lake County, FL. He is an honest man and is an asset to our company. His certifications include, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Johnson Evinrude, and Yamaha. Tommy is responsible for making sure our fleet is in working order 7 days a week.

Zac Vincent - Night Dispatcher
Zac is our night dispatcher and has been with Sea Tow for over two years. He enjoys fishing and working on the water.

Sea Tow Barracuda - 26' Shamrock

Sea Tow Barracuda is captained by Capt. Rick. A 1987 26-foot Shamrock, this vessel is equipped for all on-water services.

 

Sea Tow Black Tip - 26' Shamrock

Located at Fish Tale Marina, this 1988, 26-foot Shamrock is equipped for all on-water services.

 

 

 

Sea Tow Bull Shark - 26' Carolina Skiff

Located in Cape Coral this 2006 26' Carlina Skiff is equipped for all on-water services.

 

 

 

 

Sea Tow Great White - 26' Shamrock

Sea Tow Great White is captained by Capt. Paul Dollman. The 1985 26-foot Shamrock is equipped for all on-water services.

 

Sea Tow Hammerhead - 26' Dusky

Located in Cape Coral, this 1978 Dusky is equipped for all on-water services.

 

 

 

 

Sea Tow Reef Shark - 26' Shamrock

This 1982 26-foot Shamrock is equipped for all on-water services.

 

Sea Tow Tiger Shark - 26' Shamrock

Located in St. James City, This 26' Shamrock is captained by Capt. Dylan and is equipped for all on-water services.
