Our Team

 

George Murphy- Captain
Captain George is responsible for maintaining all necessary gear on all of boats as well as all salvage equipment. He guides and directs any complicated, on water, tows or salvages.

Kermit Koch - Captain
If you need help on any coastal or inland body of water from Toms River, NJ to Long Branch, NJ, Capt. Kermit is one of the Sea Tow professionals who will come to your aid. He holds a 100 ton USCG Masters License for Near Coastal Waters with a towing endorsement. Capt. Kermit has been a NAUI certified diver for 29 years and leads all diving operations. Before retiring, Capt. Kermit spent 29 years as a New Jersey State Police Officer in the Marine Division. He also holds a B.A. in history and sociology.

John Goodyear - Captain
Holding a 50 ton Master License and a commercial assistance towing endorsement, Captain John patrols the upper Barnegat Bay on almost a daily basis during the summer boating season to provide assistance to Sea Tow member.

Chris Covella - Captain
Holding a 1,600 ton Master License and a commercial assistance towing endorsement, Captain Chris patrols the upper Barnegat Bay on almost a daily basis during the summer boating season to provide assistance to Sea Tow member.

Our Boats

Sea Tow Manasquan has a dedicated team of captains, crew and support staff that are standing by, 24/7, to serve our members and other boaters. Our vessels are ready to perform all towing, ungrounding, jump starts, fuel delivery and other on-water assistance operations. Sea Tow boats can be spotted by their distinct yellow hulls.
