John Ward - Owner/Captain
Captain John was in the United States Coast Guard from 1994 through 2004. While in the USCG, he became a NAVI certified diver. In 2000, he went to Shipboard Fire Fighting school, and Damage Control school. Toward the end of his journey in the USCG, he received his 100 Ton Master License. When John left the USCG, he bought Sea Tow Destin in 2004. Then in 2007, he took an offer to buying Sea Tow Pensacola. In his years of owning Sea Tow, he has won Franchisee of the Year in 2009 and also has won several awards for outstanding membership growth. Captain John is a third generation boat salver, with over 15 years experience in towing and salvaging boats. As a member of the Sea Tow Disaster Response team, he was involved in Hurricane Ivan'04, Dennis'05, Katrina'05, Rita'05, Ike'08, and the Deep Water Horizon Disaster in 2010. Captain John is a hardworking Captain and a wonderful leader.
Ashely Bye - Office Manager
Ashley grew up in Meridian, Mississippi. After moving to Florida, she joined the Sea Tow team in March 2010. Ashley manages the Pensacola office and is also an excellent dispatcher. She is always eager to assist customers in need. Her kind voice is a welcome sound when customers call for a tow or just to renew their membership. Ashley always has a smile on her face when you come into the office and is very dedicated to her job and serving Sea Tow members.
Captain Ken
has been a part of our team since September 2006. He is a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain and a PADI Certified diver. Captain Ken has completed well over 400 tows and 100 salvages. He is the kind of guy who will help you on the water no matter what the problem is. He was involved in the clean up of the Deep Water Horizon Disaster in 2010 and is well known throughout the waters in Orange Beach, AL.
